FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) â€" If we have a New Year's fortitude to get healthier, 4 Kentucky parks are charity a good approach to get started.
All 4 are charity guided hikes on Jan. 1 as partial of a national effort called First Day Hikes to foster healthy lifestyles. The participating parks are Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in Corbin, E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz and Natural Bridge State Resort Park in Slade.
The state parks in Kentucky have some-more than 250 miles of hiking trails and many also offer other recreation, such as horseback riding, camping, golf, fishing and boating.
