Lint Lizard - usually okay
By Rosanne Davis
I rate a Lint Lizard merely fine since of my altogether compensation with a product.
In fairness, it does work. The hose tie and adpater do form a good sign with my Dyson opening hose for really good suction. The peculiarity of a cosmetic tools is also flattering good. It should final a prolonged time. we will be means to use a Lint Lizard to get into any crevices adult to 1" wide, where my opening hose can't fit - between operation and counter, fridge cleaning, etc. Which is a good thing since I'm not going to be means to use it on my dryer, not on a front finish where a lint trap is.
That is where we got that "as seen on TV" suckered again feeling. The settled length of 43" is a whole thing: tubing, connector, and adapter. The transparent tubing itself is usually 30" long. This is not going to "snake out" your dryer vent. we got positively no lint to come out of my front dryer opening opening even with a LL going full blast with a glorious suction of my Dyson vac. The tubing is sturdy, that means it's not all that flexible, and it's 1" wide, that is too far-reaching to get any over than where a lint trap sits. (I have an LG TROMM dryer, that has some-more of a container than a vast hole for a air/lint to transport out. Recommend we check your dryer airway to see how it's built to know if a LL will do anything for you.)
Again, in fairness, I'm flattering committed about cleaning my dryer's lint trap before any use and we use a stretchable dryer lint brush/wand each month or so. The Lint Lizard will positively take a place of a dryer lint brush on my kind of dryer. It will also no doubt work good on a behind opening of a dryer, where a opening is a 4-6" steel channel where a emporium vac hose will fit. It competence work fine going in from a outward opening by a stretchable hose that connects dryer to outmost vent, yet usually if that hose is not really prolonged -- 30" of LL tubing doesn't get we far. You're improved off replacing a stretchable hose once a year or so. They don't cost really much.
One other thing: The shipping and doing roughly doubles a cost of a item, a standard "as seen on TV" scam. (The object does not boat by Amazon.) To their credit though, a shipper TexasValue 108 did sent it priority mail, so we perceived it in about a week.
Summary: a Lint Lizard is a good done product that might work on some models of dryers, yet not all, and is a good 1" hose prolongation for your opening for other cleaning.
