Exciting as a "go anywhere, do anything" minimalist prepare set is, in use it's some-more unwieldy than a normal backpacking prepare set. Also, it gains unequivocally small solely aesthetics over a milspec version.
Now, we know it's ostensible be a minimalist square of kit, though we could save weight and maybe even headaches with a platypus bottle and GSI Minimalist prepare set. The GSI can be used in and with a folding stove as well; for times when a glow isn't an option. The canteen's figure creates it harder to use on an open glow than one competence think, and a handles are coated with a rubber that melts if it gets too hot, like in a fire.
Military canteens have a inclination to ambience nasty after a few dozen uses, and are tough to purify due to their shape. This is loyal of a canteen as well, though it for some reason came tasting of chemicals and new plastic. The crater too, it melt so lead when we initial purchased it that we was during retiring to use it. A few washes after and it smells better, though because wouldn't that be taken caring of before it was sold. First impressions and all.
So bottom line: nice, though improved options exist.

I unequivocally adore roughly all about this product nonetheless we given indeed used it yet. It seems solid. Good blanket for it. Nice vast H2O bottle. The usually thing u don't like about this product is that a hoop for a cooking crater is wrapped in rubber. But I'm certain u can only frame it off, so no large understanding there. If not it'll bake off eventually lol. It also comes with a lifetime guaranty ++ !!!!
