Denise Darcel
, a French-born singer famous for vampy roles in such films as "Vera Cruz" and "Thunder in a Pines
," has died. She was 87.Darcel's son, Craig, pronounced Monday that she died Dec. 23 during a Los Angeles sanatorium from complications from an puncture medicine to correct a ruptured aneurysm.
